The Le Monache Inn, that takes its name from a monastery of Carmelite cloistered nuns (1590 -1901) that was located in the adjoining building, is in the heart of Camaiore's historical centre.
The Inn was opened in 1923 and was a place where travellers and rovers could rest.
The building has recently been renovated by the Bertozzi's who have always run this business and who have have been handing down the art of hospitality for 4 generations.
For those in search of a gastronomical break, Camaiore can be easily reached, the beach is only 6 km away, the mountains and the cultural centres are nearby. All these aspects combined make of Camaiore one of the most charming towns of the area.

The hotel has 12 comfortable rooms. Every room has different characteristics and furnishings, with twentieth-century and liberty style furniture.All the rooms have air conditioned, a bathroom (shower), TV, telephone and safe.

The hotel looks onto a square which leads to a pedestrian area where the main sights of Camaiore can be found: The Sacred Art Museum, the Collegiata Church and the theatre. Moreover, there are many shops where the local products can be purchased.

The Hotel does not have a private car park, but there is a public car park in the square in front of the hotel and there are many others nearby.

The Restaurant
The dining room has a refined, old fashioned atmosphere, rustic décor and is the ideal place for candlelight dinners.
The big fireplace at the centre of the room gives it an even more charming touch, and during the winter evenings the merry crackling of the fire greets the guests who wish to enjoy a traditional meal.
The restaurant was opened in 1923 by the Bertozzi's. The old recipes have been handed down from father to son so that the guests can taste a good home cooking.
Today's dishes are the result of a true passion that has been carried on throughout the years, but the restaurant's specialities have also been made more refined by Filiberto Bertozzi's cooking skills.
