Cascina Motto - Piedmont

... we like music, sports, cinema, gardening, reading, art and decoration. And we enjoy spending time with our guests from all over the world.

.... there are six of us : my husband David, our daughters Greta and Jeanne, my parents Sergio and Lilla and myself, Roberta - plus our faithful friends....

... the old colonial style cascina has been restructured in keeping with local rural traditions. The property includes one and a half hectares of land, an extensive lawn, a vegetable garden and fruit trees, a ‘bocce’ court, a large art studio and a splendid swimming pool.

... the sounds and colors all around you, being close to nature,  .... life here unfolds to the rhythm of the seasons

Divignano is a small town of about 1000 inhabitants situated on the hills which run from Arona to Borgomanero.  It is strategically positioned near cities of great artistic, cultural and commercial interest such as Milan (60 km.) and Torino (100 km.), as well as places of extraordinary natural beauty like lago Maggiore (10 km.) and lago d’Orta (20 km.).

.....  nature, open air sports, historical monuments and buildings all around - corn fields and fields of rice, hills where wine grapes reign - and a magnificent panorama of the Alps, dominated by Monte Rosa ....

..... and for those who like local events, the area offers antique markets, art exhibits, seasonal festivals celebrating local specialities like chestnuts and mushrooms, musical weeks in the summer - and then there are the flower shows, the visits to the historical villas and their gardens, the open wine cellars and wine fairs, ..... just have a look at
