Podere Le Mezzelune - Tuscany

 

In our home where we like to receive guests who love spending days in a quiet and relaxing place, where they feel not like tourist, but like friends coming to visit.

Main House

Built in the late 800's,this fully restored home is surrounded by a masterpiece of mediterranean landscaping. The garden is complete with fully grown cypresses trees, fruit trees, herbs, various plants and flowers typical to the region. Beyond it there are 6 hectars of Mediterranean bush, including a lot of forest trees; you can't help but take notice of the incredible olive tree orchard encompassing the property.

Accommodation

Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by us, your hosts, Sergio and Luisa. We will show you your room, which is beautifully furnished; complete with a custom-made wrought iron bed, private bathroom, hand embroidered linens and a small drink bar. The sea view is splendid and the air refreshing. You will find it easy to spend hours lounging in the sun or enjoying local wine by candlelight on your private terrace.

Breakfast

Our homemade breakfast include fresh baked pastries, seasonal fruit, local meats and cheeses, fresh squeezed fruit juice and coffee. It is served in the garden or under the covered patio (according to the season).

Lunch and dinner

For lunch and dinner we will gladly give you recommendations for traditional restaurants, pubs and taverns of the area which serve typical tuscan specialities. Don't forget the fresh seafood on the coast.

The Relais di Campagna "Podere Le Mezzelune" is situated in Tuscany between Livorno and Piombino, within the first set of rolling hills, 5 Km from the sea, where the view reaches as far as Elba or Capraia Island, where often the mountains of the Corsica are caught at a glimpse.

Dipped in the elegant high Maremma countryside, we are located near the charming route of the Wine Road, along the Etruscan Coast.
